Spray or Die is our magazine’s electronic, sister companion. She likes videos, up-to-the-minute news, event postings and even houses a big pile of shit that didn’t make it into the magazine called The Heap. Given that there is the occasional year or two lapse in between print editions, this site will allow us to keep you up-to-date and entertained whilst awaiting the newest issue.
The first issue of Skunk was published February 12th, 2004. This was a great day for America, not because another skate rag was introduced to the general public, but because Abraham Lincoln would have turned 195 years old. And you can bet that had Honest Abe lived to be so crusty he would have been stoked to see a magazine dedicated to the artistic minds of skateboarding. Whether you were skating a janky garage quarterpipe in ’86 , the grocery store curb in ’93 or your high school handrail in 2006, it’s their words, graphics, photos and videos that give us the ability to transport back to them good old days. And it’s for that gift that we say thanks dudes – this mag’s for you!
